Accounting technician/student – non-audit stream

Responsibilities:

Preparation of corporate year end files (notice to reader and review engagements)

Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns

Other related duties

Requirements:

Familiarity with accounting software (Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Agexpert) and tax preparation software (Profile and Tax Cycle) are a plus

Familiarity with Doc-it paperless office

Experience with Microsoft Office software package

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and work well under pressure

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to have a flexible work schedule should overtime be required

Education:

Ability to be enrolled in the CPA program would be preferred but not required
